Contract / Freelance DevOps Engineer (6 months)

Apeirum is seeking a DevOps Engineer to collaborate with our client, a European startup innovating in digital mortgages. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes, aiming to meet specific infrastructure objectives within a set timeframe.

Responsibilities:

1. Fully dedicated to:

• Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines for efficient application deployment
• Collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment processes
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in a cloud-native environment

Support existing team:

• Documenting infrastructure and processes for long-term maintenance
• Supporting and enhancing Kubernetes clusters running production workloads on GCP

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience managing production Kubernetes workloads in cloud environments
• Strong knowledge of GCP services and architecture patterns
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of GitOps practices and tools, especially ArgoCD
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code approaches
