Job summary

Sacyr Vallehermoso Participaciones Mobiliarias SL is seeking an experienced Contract & Commercial Manager in Asturias, Spain. The role represents the client’s contractual interests, coordinates with suppliers, and leads risk mitigation and dispute resolution to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in contract management within EPC or large infrastructure contexts, with strong cross-functional leadership and a solid understanding of engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
• MBA or professional certifications (CPM, APICS) advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Contract Management, preferably in EPC, Design & Construct, Construction, Mining, Resources, or large-scale infra projects.

Responsibilities

• Represent the client’s contractual interests and interface with suppliers.
• Monitor obligations, variations, and risk across contract interfaces.
• Lead contract administration, variations, change management, and dispute processes.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risks; advise leadership on exposure.
• Ensure compliance with EH&S, legal, engineering, procurement, and financial standards.
• Escalate and resolve contractual and commercial issues per dispute resolution procedures.
