As a Contract Analyst, you will join the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence.

The mission of the Contracts group is to provide clinical trial site budget and contract negotiations, purchase order creation, and payment support for clinical trial and medical research consulting agreements with institutions, investigators, and consultants globally. Our vision is to develop clinical trial and medical research agreements through effective negotiations, timely execution, and accurate payments, ensuring process optimization and compliance with sponsor policies.

The Contract Analyst oversees specific clinical contract activities, including providing process guidance, conducting negotiations and analyses, facilitating compliance, and pursuing process improvements. The role balances controls with a streamlined, customer-focused, and timely contracting process.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing :

  • Contract Negotiations: Communicate and negotiate contracts with site, team, or affiliate personnel, including:

Communicate sponsor’s position on contract issues, identify relationship opportunities, secure site contracts, gather feedback, and facilitate communication. Assist with difficult negotiations and follow-up; negotiate complex contracts such as Phase I, PET Studies, Oncology Cooperatives, and Endocrine portfolio sites; review and approve contract exceptions with partners.

  • Maintain and conduct contract-related training, including developing and implementing training for new analysts and customers.
  • Create, maintain, and distribute contract templates, process documentation, and legal guidance documents as the process owner.
  • Mentor Contract Analysts to develop negotiation skills.

Provide clinical trial contract guidance to sponsor partners, develop process documentation, facilitate quality and efficiency, and serve as the primary contact for interactions with legal teams and process owners.

  • Identify and implement improvements to contract processes, standardize activities, and use metrics to drive improvements.
Qualifications

You are :

  • 3-5 years experience negotiating contracts
  • Thorough understanding of GDPR and privacy regulations
  • Experience negotiating privacy clauses with clinical research sites
  • Experience working with global teams and partners
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Process-driven mindset
