TransPerfect seeks a bright, self-motivated Solutions Engineer (SE) to join our European pre-sales team. This is a varied and rewarding role which will expose you to many types of language and content technologies in a rapidly evolving landscape and industry. As the world leader in this area, we need an experienced Sales or Solutions Engineer who can support and drive the booming sales growth of our existing GlobalLink ecosystem with a focus on the DACH region. You will report to the Regional Director of Content Solutions and be responsible for supporting our global sales force in a pre-sales capacity.

In order to be a successful candidate, you must be technically proficient in representing both the technical features and end-user benefits of our GlobalLink Solutions, and have the ability to be customer-facing and present technology with the appropriate balance between technical specifications and business benefits. You will have a strong sense of ownership. If you’re excited by new challenges, this could be the right fit for you!

Responsibilities :

  • Design solutions for existing and new customers.
  • Coordinate post-demo follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support technology awareness within our global sales team.
  • Interact with our Product Development team.

About You

As a Sales Engineer, you are a :

  • Creative thinker – Curious and unafraid to ask questions.
  • Hard worker – Industrious and diligent in all tasks.
  • Innovator – Willing to initiate changes and introduce new ideas.

Your experience includes :

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • At least 3 years experience in presales / software sales support.
  • Experience in content management.
  • Understanding and keen interest in AI.
  • Native level German speaker highly desirable.
  • Enthusiastic, focused, self-motivated individual capable of demonstrating individual initiative.
  • Excellent technical acumen.
  • Experience in demonstrating software solutions and value propositions to end clients.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Experience in process development.
  • Experience in localization and translation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AI, API, App development, Java, .NET, Web Services, and / or other web and software application technologies.
  • Experience with developing / architecting global enterprise solutions.
