Morningstar seeks a self-motivated Associate Data Content Researcher to join the Managed Investment Data team in Madrid. You will work with Data Strategy, Tech and Global MID operations to implement new data, data changes, business rule enhancement and interface enhancements to drive operation excellence.

You will be a key contributor to design new data collection process flow and user interface, build creative tool and provide insight for data enhancement and you would also play a key role as

Formación

  • 3-6 years in business/data analysis, preferably within capital markets, wealth management, or asset management domains.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business with an exceptional academic record.
  • Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.
  • Excellent English verbal/presentation/written communication skills.
  • Highly interest in data and analytics.
  • Profound understanding of Fund data.
  • Data, system, process and backend logic.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Understanding of Database Structure and Design.
  • Experience with SQL. Basic programming, Python and database skills is preferred.
  • Experience with AI tools is a plus.
  • CFA/NISM/FRM/NCFM certifications or progress towards those preferred.

Responsabilidades

  • Review and interpret business requirements to propose actionable data and process solutions.
  • Design new data flow and user interface, build back-end logic to ensure data accuracy.
  • Provide solution and consultation for data processing improvement from overall data perspective.
  • Provide proper proposal for data quality control backend logic to drive data accuracy improvement.
  • Interpret data methodologies into usable technology language through detailed written specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis and impact analysis to evaluate data solution / methodology feasibility and impact.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on the potential impacts or risks of the proposal, and make the risk mitigation plan.
  • Coordinates with relevant teams to ensure proper implementation and documentation.
  • Maintain database backend knowledge and build readable documentation.

The Role

Morningstar seeks a self-motivated (Associate) Data Content Researcher to join Managed Investment Data team. In this role, you will work with Data Strategy team, Tech team and Global MID operations team to implement new data, data changes, business rule enhancement and interface enhancements to drive operation excellence. Your exposure to global teams will allow you to have a solid foundation for your career. This position is based in Madrid office.

Base Salary Compensation Range

EUR 47.000,00-65.666,66

Bonus Target

12,5% Annual

We expect the compensation and target bonus for this role to fall within the stated range. The specific compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
