Morningstar Europe Services, S.L. seeks an Associate Data Content Researcher to join the Managed Investment Data team in Madrid. You’ll work across Data Strategy, Tech, and MID operations to implement data changes and interface enhancements for data quality and accuracy.

The role involves designing data flows, building backend logic, and providing data processing improvements. A bachelor’s in finance/economics, strong communication, and SQL/Python skills are required. Hybrid work available.

Formación

• 3-6 years in business/data analysis within capital markets, wealth or asset management.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business with strong academic record.
• Strong quantitative and business analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review and interpret business requirements to propose actionable data solutions.
• Design new data flow and UI, and build back-end logic for data accuracy.
• Provide solutions for data processing improvements from a data perspective.
• Propose data quality control backend logic to improve accuracy.
• Translate data methodologies into detailed written specifications.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure implementation and documentation.

In this role, you will work with Data Strategy team, Tech team and Global MID operations team to implement new data, data changes, business rule enhancement and interface enhancements to drive operation excellence. You will be a key contributor to design new data collection process flow and user interface, build creative tool and provide insight for data enhancement and you would also play a key role as the data escalation point. This position is based in Madrid office.Responsibilities:Review and interpret business requirements to propose actionable data and process solutionsDesign new data flow and user interface, build back-end logic to ensure data accuracy.Provide solution and consultation for data processing improvement from overall data perspective.Provide proper proposal for data quality control backend logic to drive data accuracy improvement.Interpret data methodologies into usable technology language through detailed written specificationsConduct feasibility analysis and impact analysis to evaluate data solution / methodology feasibility and impactCommunicate with stakeholders on the potential impacts or risks of the proposal, and make the risk mitigation planCoordinates with relevant teams to ensure proper implementation and documentationMaintain database backend knowledge and build readable documentation.Requirements:3-6 years in business/data analysis, preferably within capital markets, wealth management, or asset management domains.A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business with an exceptional academic record.Strong quantitative and business analysis skillsExcellent English verbal/presentation/written communication skillsHighly interest in data and analyticsProfound understanding of Fund dataData, system, process and backend logicSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and organizedUnderstanding of Database Structure and DesignExperience with SQL.
