Content Licensing Manager

Love TV Channels, a Barcelona-based startup, produces 22 TV channels (Free Advertising-Supported TV (FAST) channels) across Europe and Americas.

We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Content Licensing Manager with a few years of experience in content curation and licensing, based in Barcelona or Madrid, to join our dynamic Content Team.

Responsibilities :

• Identify and engage with Spanish and international distributors to establish robust partnerships and secure licensing agreements that meet the content needs of our FAST channels.
• Negotiate both international and local licensing deals, with a particular focus in Spain.
• Define content strategy for the different channels, curate content selections and collaborate with local and programming teams to ensure our channels feature premium, localized content.
• Monitor channel performance metrics to inform content selection and programming decisions.
• Contribute to the development of our news vertical building partnerships with press agencies, news publishers, influencers, and news-oriented YouTube channels.
• Coordinate content strategies with various departments, including programming, distribution, social media, and finance.
• Occasionally assist in coordinating production projects for Love TV Channels.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Studies, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in content licensing.
• Deep passion for content and television, with strong knowledge of content trends in Spain.
• Results-oriented with excellent organizational skills, the ability to work efficiently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Creative thinker with a high level of initiative and proactivity in identifying new opportunities.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.
• Based in Madrid or Barcelona
