Formación

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.

This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile engineer to work as Verification and Validation Engineer on the Galileo project, the European space flagship programme.

Galileo is Europe's Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), funded and owned by the EU, providing accurate positioning and timing information.

CETRA BASE is currently looking for V&V Engineer to be part of the Galileo Engineering team.

The position is based in Madrid.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will carry-out integration, verification and validation activities, as detailed hereafter :

• Ground Segment integration based on customer requirements
• Ground Segment verification and validation
• SW installation and configuration on Windows and Linux environments
• SW functional analysis
• SW anomalies analysis and troubleshooting
• To provide Technical Support to all activities

Essential qualifications and experience

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Experience in Integration, Verification and Validation of SW
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
• Ability to work in a multicultural team
• Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible for security clearance
• Availability to travel within Europe

Experience in Space programmes

Security

In line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract and a very competitive salary package, according to his / her skills and experience.
