Oracle Consulting Solution Architect

Location : Spain - Open to any office, preferably Madrid or Barcelona (hybrid work)

Scope of the role

We seek a top-tier Solution Architect to lead the design of high-impact, transformative cloud solutions within Oracle Consulting. This role involves strategic engagement in presales and delivery, working directly with CTOs, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to develop business and define solutions that provide measurable value.

The architect will act as a Solution Authority, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution. They will navigate complex enterprise environments and propose innovative, sustainable solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), especially in Data Architecture, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Cloud-native Development.

We require someone who excels in technology, communication, influence, and strategic thinking—a true “elevator architect” capable of engaging at all organizational levels, from technical sessions to executive discussions, impacting both sales and execution phases.

Qualifications and Skills

• 10-15 years of experience encompassing business development, solution architecture, design, coding, project implementation, and consulting.
• At least 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud (OCI) solution architecture.
• Experience in customer-facing roles such as consulting, presales, or solutions architecture.
• Proven track record in leading high-stakes engagements with enterprise or public sector clients.
• Oracle Cloud certifications in Data, Infrastructure, and AI are highly preferred.
• Background in sectors like Financial Services, Telco, Retail, or Government is advantageous.
• Strong customer-facing skills to represent Oracle Cloud and discuss trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation with senior staff.
• Ability to work independently with discipline and a structured approach in sales planning and execution.
• Excellent articulation of solutions aligned with customer business requirements.
• Ability to develop internal relationships, lead, and mentor team members.
• Experience in cloud services architecture, design, and roadmap development.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to deliver services remotely or on-site as required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead as the technical design authority for Oracle Cloud solutions in high-value client engagements.
• Collaborate with sales and consulting teams to qualify opportunities and define solutions and scope.
• Engage with client stakeholders, including CTOs and enterprise architects, to understand their goals and challenges.
• Lead architecture workshops and define OCI solution architectures that meet customer needs with clear value propositions.
• Guide solution implementation during project delivery, ensuring scope and alignment, and support project teams with your expertise.
• Provide thought leadership on OCI capabilities across various domains such as Cloud Infrastructure, Data Platforms, AI/ML, DevSecOps, Application Modernization, and Integration.
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and cloud transformation roadmaps, capturing the full potential of AI and Data integration.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Work closely with Oracle Cloud Sales and Consulting Sales leaders.
• Articulate the value proposition of Oracle Consulting and Digital Modernization services.
• Build trusted relationships with key clients and Oracle stakeholders.
