Job Description:
As a consequence of the continuous growth and development of projects in our organization, we are seeking a Consultant in the area of Operational Performance Services, covering the following services: Management systems and compliance support, permitting, sustainability and reporting services, and EHS Auditing.
Your main responsibilities and tasks will be:
- Support the development of EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with ISO, IFC, EBRD, and other industry-specific standards and good practices.
- Provide comprehensive support for environmental compliance activities.
- Provide technical assistance on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/sustainability, developing benchmarking studies and sustainability strategies.
- Assist corporate clients in responding to annual questionnaires and reporting requirements, such as DJSI, CDP, GRI, and applicable regulations on non-financial disclosure.
- Conduct environmental, health, and safety compliance and management audits.
- Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including proposal development.
- Understand the interrelationships between ERM services and policies and their application within business models.
- Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, or related discipline.
- Master’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, environmental science, or related fields such as environmental management, sustainability, or climate change.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in environmental management and sustainability services with knowledge of environmental regulations.
- 1-2 years of experience in management systems and legal compliance auditing.
- Experience in Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and reporting.
- Knowledge of ISO management systems standards, IFC Environmental and Social standards, and sustainability reporting standards.
- Effective communication, organizational, and analytical skills; experience in detailed technical report writing.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory; additional languages like French, Portuguese, or Italian are a plus.
