We are currently looking for a Business Consultant to join our Corporate & Investment Banking practice in Madrid, with specialization in Market Risk and Valuation of Financial Instruments (Options and Derivatives). We support our clients in defining and executing their strategic transformation plans through innovative solutions in Methodology, Market Risk, FO, Internal Validation, and other Quantitative Teams.

1. Functional consulting related to Global Markets business and IT transformation.
2. Multidisciplinary profile combining business vision with technology and operational support for IT.
3. Deep knowledge of Financial Instruments, their valuation, and the computational skills required for their implementation.

What are we looking for?

1. University degree (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Business Management, or similar).
2. Languages: Advanced written and spoken English; experience abroad is a plus.
3. Understanding of technology as a driver for digital transformation.
4. Software skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft Office).
5. Availability to travel.
6. Knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM, etc.) is desirable.
7. Familiarity with numerical methods and stochastic processes is desirable.
8. Knowledge of valuation models for Options and Derivatives is desirable.
9. Financial tech: Murex experience is desirable.

What will be your role?

1. Collaborate with major financial institutions across Spain, LATAM, and the USA.
2. Work on projects involving Murex, FO, Market Risk, IBOR/TIIE Transition, and Methodology.
3. Validate P&L components, Sensitivities, Estimates, VaR for FX, IR, CR, COMM, and EQ derivatives.
4. Calibrate curves in Murex / Mercury.
5. Manage projects end-to-end, including planning, deadlines, resources, and tasks.
6. Lead meetings with clients and coordinate communication among project areas.
7. Consolidate and share knowledge gained from projects.
8. Supervise senior and junior consultants, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
9. Lead and present commercial proposals.
10. Contribute to the development of our Markets offering.
11. Train and mentor junior consultants.
