ARANER in Madrid seeks a Civil Engineer to assist in EPC project planning, site documentation reviews, and subcontractor supervision. The role focuses on aligning technical design with schedules, budgets, and quality standards across the project lifecycle.

The engineer will work closely with the site team to ensure drawings are accurate, materials meet specifications, and field activities are coordinated with multiple trades and vendors.

Qualificações

• Bachelor level or higher in civil engineering or similar field.
• Experience in planning, data gathering and technical project design.
• Ability to read Architectural, Civil, Mechanical & Electrical drawings.
• Strong on-site coordination and supervision of subcontractors.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, data gathering and technical design of the project.
• Revise site technical documentation prior submission to project consultant (Material Submittals, Method of Statements, Shop Drawings).
• Monitor subcontractor works and provide technical assistance to the site team.
• Track project costs from start to finish and verify field records.
• Perform quantity calculations from technical drawings.
• Produce AutoCAD schematics, sketches and drawings for design and reports.
• Ensure materials/equipment meet contract specifications with suppliers and vendors.
• Apply field experience in construction or consultancy for buildings/infrastructure.
• Coordinate civil and industrial works across teams involved in the project.
• Support steel building construction experience where applicable.

Civil Engineer to assist in the construction monitoring and planning of EPC

projects, primarily focusing on the revision of technical site documentation and

overseeing subcontractor’s site works in order to match contractual time

schedule, quality of works and monetary costs from the beginning to the end

of a project.

Job duties:

• Assist in planning, data gathering and technical design of the project
• Revision of site technical documentation prior submission to project consultant, such as Material Submittals, Method of Statements and Shop Drawings
• Monitoring of subcontractor’s works and construction progress, providing technical assistance to the construction site team
• Monitoring of the costs associated with the construction project from outset until completion, verifying site team numbers and records
• Performing quantity calculations based on technical drawings
• Produce AutoCAD schematics, sketches and drawings for engineering design and reports
• Checking with subcontractors, suppliers and vendors that materials and equipments meet contract specifications
• Testable field experience in construction or construction consultancy of buildings and/or infrastructure projects
• Experience reading Architectural, Civil, Mechanical & Electrical drawings
• Sofware:
  • Drawing: proficient on AutoCAD 2D
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).
