Linum Consult's client is an international design and build main contractor, specialising in large commercial and industrial buildings.

They are currently seeking a Construction Project Director to join their team on a state-of-the-art cleanroom facility construction project in Madrid.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Based on site, you will be managing the main contractors, sub-contractors, designers and cost consultancies.
2. Leading the project management team to ensure that the project cycle is completed and meets the agreed standards and objectives.
3. Creating an organisation structure to optimise the most efficient use of resources.
4. Preparing the budget for your department, and monitoring the financial performance of the project; rectifying any problems that arise.
5. Carrying out regular site inspections to ensure that all works are carried out to high standards, deadlines and budgets.
6. Recommending improvements to departmental policies and procedures.

PROFILE

1. Degree qualified in Construction or Engineering.
2. Strong background within the construction industry, with experience of working on highly-technical large industrial buildings such as pharma, life sciences, manufacturing, etc.
3. Significant experience working on EPC projects.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Fluent in spoken and written Spanish and English.
6. A history of working for either main contractors or engineering consultancies.
7. The right to live and work in the EU.
