Driver Operations Executive (paternity leave cover)

Location: Barcelona

This exciting customer-facing role, assisting the Operations Manager, aims to develop, manage, and build relationships with our most important customers - our drivers. You will ensure that drivers using the FREENOW platform offer the best quality of service by identifying, proposing new ideas, and actioning various driver behaviors. Your goal is to deliver a superior level of service to drivers via the FREE NOW App, enabling them to provide excellent service to passengers.

This role is hybrid from our Barcelona office and lasts for 4 months, starting on May 15th.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Being the first point of contact for drivers and providing excellent, personalized support through calls and face-to-face visits.
• Onboarding drivers, including those with zero-emission vehicles, ensuring accuracy and high-quality face-to-face service.
• Collaborating across departments to promote FREENOW's strategy among existing drivers.
• Driving engagement through driver campaigns.
• Supporting projects such as driver quality follow-up, engagement and acquisition, deploying on-car advertisements, reporting and testing app bugs, and conducting market research and competitor analysis.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in an operational or customer-facing role; experience in ride-hailing is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building skills, enjoyment in meeting new people, and the ability to quickly understand how to work effectively together.
• Proactivity, personable nature, confidence, and adaptability to different characters and communication styles.
• Comfort with working with datasets and making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
