Your Impact

You will be part of McKinsey’s Ethics and Compliance (E&C) team, based in Europe / EEMA. The E&C function manages risks to our firm, clients, and staff, ensuring integrity and compliance across operations. You will execute and scale our Firm’s Center of Excellence (COE) Diligence program, refining risk assessment processes, supporting data maintenance, and informing our risk posture.

You will conduct due diligence, prepare memos for stakeholders, and drive operational excellence within the COE Diligence. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Legal and Risk, is essential, as is engaging in regional initiatives to promote our integrity agenda.

As a key member of the Client and Regulatory Compliance team, you will support strategic initiatives, uphold our commitment to integrity, and evolve our E&C program to meet emerging challenges.

Your qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Juris Doctor, CPA) preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in diligence research or managing diligence teams
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: German, French, Arabic, Italian, Turkish, or Dutch
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Discretion and judgment in handling confidential information
  • Fostering an inclusive, respectful environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Research experience in Europe & EEMA jurisdictions is critical
