About The Role

We're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to lead our security compliance efforts and ensure our systems meet industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other relevant frameworks. You will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to build a secure foundation as we scale.

What You'll Do:

• Own and manage our SOC 2 certification process from gap assessments to audits and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering to design secure systems and infrastructure.
• Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response plans.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate with external auditors/consultants.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Educate and train teams on security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and improve the company's security posture.

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or compliance.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 audits and certification processes.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR, and other frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and secure architecture principles.
• Experience conducting security assessments and working with external auditors.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP are a plus.
