About The Role

The Compliance Lead will oversee all regulatory, legal, and risk-related aspects of our global operations. You will advise the leadership team, ensuring compliance with legal obligations and platform standards across all markets. This role requires strategic vision and attention to detail as we develop scalable, sustainable systems to support our growth.

Please note: This position is only available to candidates currently living in the Canary Islands or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute a global compliance framework for our content-forward, creator-centric CRM platform with embedded fintech functionalities.
2. Manage and update the platform’s Acceptable Use Policy, content standards, and enforcement protocols.
3. Collaborate with trust & safety, legal, product, engineering, and customer experience teams to implement compliance throughout the user journey.
4. Monitor and interpret emerging regulations related to digital services and adapt company policies accordingly.
5. Lead enforcement workflows and serve as the point of contact for compliance inquiries, audits, and issues.
6. Conduct regular compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments.
7. Foster a culture of integrity and solutions-oriented compliance within the company.

Preferred Qualifications

1. 6+ years of experience in compliance, platform governance, risk management, or trust & safety roles, preferably in social media, fintech, or creator monetization sectors.
2. Strong understanding of platform policies, content moderation, creator behavior, and digital risk areas.
3. Ability to design systems, policies, and workflows from scratch.
4. Excellent communication skills and judgment to advise executives on complex issues.
5. Creative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
6. Legal degree (JD or equivalent) is a strong plus.
7. Experience with international digital content, payments, or data governance regulations is advantageous.
