We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Compensation & Benefits (C&B) Manager to lead and oversee, in collaboration with the Global Compensation & Benefits Team, the implementation of European Pay Transparency, Global Job Architecture, and ensure that all related policies, processes, and systems align with local, regional, and global standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving compliance, supporting strategic business goals, and maintaining an equitable and competitive compensation structure across multiple regions.
This role requires an individual who can partner with both finance and HR to analyze and optimize compensation structures, ensure legal compliance, and drive the integration of new roles, policies, and compensation programs to meet the needs of a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- European Pay Transparency & Global Job Architecture: Lead the development and implementation of European pay transparency policies and practices, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and global standards. Support gender neutrality in pay, perform gap analyses, and provide guidance on country-specific applications of global policies.
- Policy Development & Revision: Review and revise local compensation policies, support creation and revision of policies, and ensure documentation for compliance and audits.
- Training & Development: Design and deliver training programs on compensation practices, pay transparency, and policy updates. Educate employees on pay structures, benefits, and career progression.
- Legal Compliance & Risk Management: Stay updated on labor laws, tax policies, and legislation; ensure GDPR compliance; support audits and recommend improvements.
- Strategic Partnership & Communication: Collaborate with Business, Finance, Legal, and HR teams to align compensation strategies with business goals. Work with external providers for services and communicate policies clearly to stakeholders.
- Compensation & Benefits Optimization: Develop strategies for tax optimization, monitor bonus structures, and manage flexible benefits packages.
- Leadership & Team Collaboration: Provide leadership to internal stakeholders, act as a subject matter expert, and foster collaboration across teams.
- Annual Review & Planning: Review and adjust compensation strategies annually, conduct salary benchmarks, gender pay audits, and evaluate job hierarchies.
- Special Projects & Additional Responsibilities: Lead projects on workforce transitions, manage budgets, oversee job calibration, and monitor incentive plans and health insurance strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related; Master’s or certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CCP) are a plus.
- 5-7 years of experience in Compensation & Benefits management, with a focus on European pay transparency and global job architecture.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, GDPR, and pay equity analysis.
- Excellent data analysis, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
This position may require occasional travel within Europe and working across multiple time zones.
