This role reports directly to the Global Commodity Manager and works closely with the Regional Purchasing Manager, offering a dynamic environment where you can make a global impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing : Develop and implement commodity strategies to achieve corporate objectives, including supplier rationalization, cost management, and localization initiatives.
• Market Analysis : Monitor and communicate global business trends, supply market dynamics, and technological drivers to stakeholders.
• Supplier Engagement : Build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and resolve escalations to enhance supply chain reliability.
• Performance Optimization : Drive cost recovery initiatives, manage supplier scorecards, and oversee advanced technology procurement projects.
• Risk Mitigation : Identify and address supply risks, ensuring business continuity and financial stability within the supply chain.
• Advanced Negotiation : Lead complex negotiations, ensuring optimal outcomes for pricing, payment terms, and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Materials Management, or Logistics. A Master’s degree is a strong asset.
• Experience : in purchasing or materials management, preferably in high-volume manufacturing industries.
• Skills : Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Exceptional negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Travel : Willingness to travel 30-60% of the time to suppliers and company facilities across EMEA.
