What You Will Do

  1. Support in Panel Management: Assist in gathering and analysing market data to support the development of supplier panel strategies. Help implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities.
  2. Supplier Management: Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives (identify cost-saving opportunities), partners with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select the suppliers based on cost, delivery, quality and innovation capabilities.
  3. Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and propose preventive measures. Assist in developing contingency plans to mitigate risks related to raw materials, electronic components, geopolitical issues, and financial matters.
What We Are Looking For

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. From 3 to 5 years of experience in the field of direct procurement or commodity management, preferable in the automotive industry.
  3. Proficiency in written and spoken Business English, any other language is nice to have (Eg. Chinese).
  4. Knowledge of procurement systems, MS Office and cost analysis tools.
  5. Availability to relocate to Valladolid.
  6. Knowledge of regional global market dynamics.
  7. Solution oriented person.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
  9. Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills.
