Starr Europe Insurance Limited is seeking a Commercial Property Underwriter Assistant in Spain. You will analyse claims experience, adhere to underwriting standards, and ensure accurate documentation and policy wording.

Responsibilities include logging risks, data entry into RMS, handling renewals, and supporting credit control with broker liaison. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or law and at least one year of related underwriting or brokerage experience.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in engineering, business or law or related field.
• Minimum one year experience as a Commercial Property Assistant Underwriter and/or as a Commercial Property Broker.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse claims experience to project future results.
• Adhere to Starr underwriting standards per Underwriting Manuals.
• Ensure underwriting documents are accurate, complete and up-to-date.
• Ensure policy wordings & clauses are slip referenced and agreed.
• Ensure all accounts are contract certain at binding.
• Enter accurate catastrophe data into RMS model.
• Log all bound, quoted, working and declined risks per guidelines.
• Ensure file is complete with all documents.
• Request outstanding items from broker/underwriter for Peer Review.
• Ensure signings match written confirmations.
• Distribute company, market and client docs accurately and on time.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes with broker.
• Enter schedule data and quotations into system.
• Complete Underwriting Notes and QA checks.
• Issue policies, endorsements or certificates of bound business.
• Communicate with broker on premium collections progress.
• Assist with credit control and support aged debt queries.
• Reconcile premiums due vs received to manage credit control.
• Handle renewals and assist retention targets for Tech Lines.
• Manage aggregations/ accumulations of joint venture interests.
• Support raw data generation to inform RM and CUO for reinsurance strategy.
