A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will play a key role in providing finance support and coordination to the Grid Technologies Grid Solution organization. Your responsibilities include managing projects and invoicing, controlling costs, conducting business analysis, preparing offers, calculating prices, and reviewing contracts.

You will collaborate closely with other commercial and technical project managers, as well as support functions across different countries. You will ensure that commercial and contractual requirements are met, accounting rules, payment plans, taxation, collections are followed, and that financial forecasting and risk management are effectively handled.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure all project reporting and controlling activities are accurate and timely.
• Support the Commercial Project Manager and Project Manager in identifying, evaluating, and assessing risks and opportunities, taking full responsibility for commercial risks and opportunities.
• Forecast project costs and free cash flow, maintaining high forecasting accuracy.
• Ensure accurate balance sheet accounting.
• Facilitate prompt invoicing to customers.
• Manage accounts receivables and collections actively to ensure timely payments.
• Supervise guarantees and ensure collection upon expiry for credit.
• Report and present critical business metrics as required.
• Maintain accurate project books and records, ensuring compliance with Siemens-FRG and local GAAP using SAP and other systems.
• Handle additional Business Unit-specific requests.
