Tasks and Responsibilities:
  1. Sales Operations Strategy Development:
    • Align growth targets of the business to key accounts.
    • Be the primary point of contact for the account, understand account requirements, pipeline, and develop and grow the account.
    • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to sales operations; define metrics for measuring success.
  2. CRM Management & Analytics:
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of a CRM system to support sales activities within clinical trials sourcing.
    • Utilize CRM data to generate insights on customer behavior, market trends, pipeline analysis, revenue forecasting, and other key sales metrics.
  3. Sales Process Optimization:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes within clinical trials sourcing, including lead generation, lead qualification, opportunity management, proposal development, contract negotiation, and order processing.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Strategic Sourcing) to ensure alignment between sales processes and overall commercial activities.
  4. Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
    • Develop regular reporting mechanisms to track performance against sales targets and KPIs within clinical trials sourcing projects.
    • Provide insights on performance trends, identify areas for improvement, and propose actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with teams such as Project Management, Strategic Sourcing, and Clinical Operations to ensure seamless integration between operations and commercial efforts within clinical trials sourcing projects.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders (e.g., Strategic Sourcing Managers) to understand project needs and timelines, and align resources accordingly.
  6. Process Improvement Initiatives:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within sales operations; propose changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness through automation and digitization where applicable.
  7. Contract Management Support:
    • Work closely with the Sales team during contract negotiations and execution by providing support in gathering necessary information and documentation related to pricing agreements, terms, and conditions specific to clinical trials sourcing contracts.
  8. Quality Management System:
    • Work with the QA team to investigate customer complaints or deviations related to sourced pharmaceutical drugs for clinical trials.
    • Provide necessary information, documentation, and support to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future issues.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations or related roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Fluency in English.

  • Strong understanding of sales operations processes and best practices.
  • Good exposure to client engagement and a commercial focus.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
