A fast-growing organization seeks an EMEA-qualified lawyer to support its legal team in negotiating B2B commercial agreements. This role involves collaborating with sales on legal matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing internal legal workflows and training materials. Ideal candidates will have significant experience with data protection laws and a strong negotiating background.

Formación

  • 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Minimum of 5+ years negotiating B2B SaaS and software license agreements.
  • Common law experience.

Descripción del empleo

As a key member of our dedicated legal team, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in negotiating B2B commercial agreements. Your expertise in EMEA-specific laws and regulations will be invaluable in advising on data protection and other critical matters.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Negotiating and managing various commercial agreements, including NDAs, SaaS software agreements, and security addendums.
  • Providing guidance on EMEA-specific laws related to B2B commercial agreements.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally on legal, regulatory, and corporate matters, such as company policies, revenue recognition, and compliance.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of workflows and processes needed to scale the legal function efficiently.

In this role, you will also create and present training materials to business teams on legal best practices and current regulatory issues.

To be successful in this position, you will need :

  • EMEA-qualified lawyer in good standing with common law experience.
  • 8+ years of experience as a practicing attorney with a minimum of 5+ years negotiating B2B SaaS and software license agreements.
  • Significant experience with Data Protection Laws, including negotiating DPAs.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Ability to form and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
