Job Description
Your team

To support profitable growth, our largest, strategic, and complex projects are an essential component. Commercial Management in Finance is the central authority for the comprehensive economic evaluation and commercial responsibility of complex and major deals within T-Systems. With a dedicated international team of 60 people and an even larger global community, we have the commercial responsibility for national and international complex deals.

Your responsibilities :

As a Commercial Finance Manager, you will create business cases for all portfolio areas of T-Systems by assuming finance and commercial responsibility in deals in the pre-sales phase. You will collaborate with different teams across the company and gain insights into all areas.

After onboarding, your responsibilities include:

  • Taking the role of Finance Manager in new deals in the pre-sales phase in large projects (>20m€) across Europe, focusing on Germany and Austria
  • Responsible for business case development and modeling
  • Generating a comprehensive commercial deal view for management decision boards, ensuring transparency for TSI top management and decision-makers
  • Ensuring consideration of commercial guidelines, financial standards, hurdle rates, and risk assessments to secure corporate objectives
  • Aligning customer tactics with international processes within tight timelines
  • Collaborating with sales, solution, portfolio leadership, business controlling, legal, procurement, HR, and treasury teams
  • Assisting in evaluating and determining the commercial terms and conditions of new contracts
  • Negotiating commercial contractual issues with customers and external partners in coordination with the sales team
Qualifications
Your profile
  • You have a completed education / MBA / universal degree in business, technical, or legal subjects, or equivalent professional experience
  • You have initial experience in IT and/or Systems Integration projects, with strong analytical skills and a result-oriented mindset
  • Your strengths include high commitment, confidence, independence, and a strong team and customer orientation
  • High social and intercultural competence to act confidently in critical situations
  • Excellent German and English skills (business fluent) and willingness to travel for international cooperation
