This position will identify and develop organic growth opportunities, support operational business plans, and lead special projects that align with our company priorities. This role offers a unique chance to make a significant impact by collaborating with key players and ensuring the success of commercial development.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Commercial Development and Growth
- Commercial Model Design Lead : Develop and lead end-to-end commercial models for strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
- Organic Growth Opportunities : Identify and develop organic strategic opportunities that emerge at the headquarters level. These may include cross-country initiatives with major clients, high-impact strategic projects, or large-scale opportunities that require centralised coordination and oversight due to their complexity or scope. Also, Scout national and international organic growth opportunities by managing relationships with key players in the sector.
- Identify relevant growth stream by country according to the strategic plan to ensure the right growth support in the country agenda.
- Strategic Retreat Support in relation with organic growth levers : Responsible for aggregating, reviewing and guaranteeing consistency on the different commercial growth levers (densification, asset rationalization, …) to form a comprehensive strategic plan.
Operational support and implementation
- Business Model Design Support. Provides skilled and qualified support to the Countries related to the business model approach on commercial opportunities, ensuring that key principles and main contract terms are in line with the Company Guidelines
- Operational Business Plan Support : Assist the Countries in developing, preparing and validating the operating business plan of the commercial opportunities.
Cross-functional leadership and Special projects
- Lead of COO special initiatives requiring cross-functional leadership to analyse and implement relevant projects, ensuring alignment with company priorities. Examples of ongoing projects : Colocation pricing analysis, generative AI potential foundational use cases identification as a TowerCo, etc.
Business solutions with Artificial Intelligence
- Experienced on leading the deployment of artificial intelligence solutions across the organization. This role will be responsible for driving AI adoption, overseeing process and functions fulfillment, and ensuring alignment with business goals. Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering AI-driven transformation. Key Responsibilities : o Develop and implement the company's AI functional strategy within the commercial domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and the Cellnex IT strategy. o Lead, from the functional perspective, AI-driven projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. o Collaborate with country and corporate business leaders to identify AI opportunities that can enhance Cellnex's commercial areas. o Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure AI impact and ensure continuous improvement. o Stay up to date with AI advancements and industry trends, identifying innovative solutions for business challenges in coordination with the IT department. o Ensure compliance with ethical AI practices, data privacy regulations o Manage relationships with IT Department to ensure the appropriate technical platform.
Education :
- Telecommunications Engineer or similar with an MBA or other economics / management postgraduate.
Relevant Professional Experience
- 2-3 years’ of experience in commercial roles, contract management or business development.
- Experience in strategic analysis frameworks (market, competition, financial, regulatory, technology analysis)
- Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure agreements, and telco industry practices.
Other relevant Skills or Characteristic
- Deep understanding of telecom industry dynamics, TowerCo business models, and financial drivers for infrastructure agreements.
- Ability to analyse contract terms, financial implications, and regulatory impacts, making datadriven recommendations.
- Skilled at building relationships across departments, facilitating smooth contract execution
