Our client is seeking an ambitious leader to develop and oversee the commercial performance of their international brands, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

As the Commercial Director, you will be crucial in shaping and executing the commercial strategy to drive business success. Your responsibilities include leading strategic planning and ensuring leadership teams focus on achieving the company plan. This role is vital for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and fostering strategic partnerships.

The role also involves ensuring our customer experiences are best-in-class by minimizing friction points. You will collaborate closely within a matrix organization comprising Commercial, Tech, Product, Customer Services, Operations, and Venues teams to identify issues and develop actionable business plans for quick mitigation.

This position requires a deep understanding of the digital gambling market, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in creating successful marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be innovative, analytical, and results-oriented.

You will lead a commercial team to advance the company's strategy.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement the commercial strategy to meet business goals and revenue targets across all brands.
  2. Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and revenue streams.
  3. Oversee market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  4. Manage the commercial budget, ensuring cost efficiency and financial performance, collaborating with the finance team for reporting and insights.
  5. Manage and optimize pricing strategies, promotions, and customer acquisition costs, monitoring key performance metrics to identify improvement areas and drive revenue initiatives.
  6. Cultivate a workplace culture that empowers teams to excel and innovate beyond current scopes to attract new customers.
  7. Oversee the customer research budget and outputs to maintain a strong customer perspective on the brand.
  8. Manage the marketing budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with strategic goals.
  9. Monitor and report on marketing expenditures and campaign performance.
  10. Utilize data analytics to measure and enhance campaign ROI.
  11. Create an environment conducive to rapid learning and career development.
  12. Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of professionals to execute the digital strategic business plan.
  13. Foster a highly collaborative, high-performance culture within the international team and with external stakeholders.
  14. Identify and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, influencers, and affiliates to expand reach and influence.
  15. Ensure customer voice is integrated into future roadmaps.
  16. Contribute as a key member of the leadership team, working on P&L delivery alongside other direct reports of the Managing Director.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Head of or C-level role within Commercial/Marketing in B2C iGaming operators, ideally with Bingo experience.
  • Experience in iGaming operations within the Spanish market.
  • Proven success in leading and managing an iGaming brand P&L.
  • Track record of driving revenue growth and achieving commercial objectives through strategic planning.
  • Broad gaming experience across digital functions such as CRM, Marketing, Content, and Product is preferred.
  • Experience working within a matrix management structure across multiple territories.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with an analytical approach to decision-making.
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and financial performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead cross-functional groups.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-focused with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and responsible gaming practices.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English.
