We are looking for a Global Senior Manager M&A Div Technology to manage the M&A Tech's deal and project portfolio to ensure delivery. You will ideally come from a deal & project and portfolio management background within a technology pharmaceutical environment.

The M&A Tech Sr. Global Manager is essential in strategically planning, managing, and executing strategic IT initiatives within our company.

With a strong emphasis on demand and portfolio management, this position is crucial for managing and maximizing the M&A Tech's deal and project portfolio to optimize resource efficiency and align with business objectives. You will work with deal and project managers and serve as a strategic partner to the Strategic Business Stakeholders overseeing the Sandoz deal portfolio and the Technology departments supporting deals. Your role involves monitoring deal progress from pre-DD until full integration or divestment, resource availability, and stakeholder engagement. Your efforts will focus on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), including integrations, divestitures, and strategic projects from start to finish, maintaining confidentiality, and reporting to the M&A Tech Lead as part of the M&A Tech team.

Key Responsibilities, Accountabilities and Tasks :

  1. Strategic Business Partner : Drive and ensure that M&A demand is captured and collaborate with Technology functions to deliver quality services to stakeholders as per service descriptions.
  2. Demand Management : Forecast and manage demands from stakeholder groups, prioritize within the M&A Tech deal portfolio, and monitor initiatives depending on deal stages.
  3. Portfolio Alignment : Ensure all deals & projects align with strategic business goals and integrate into the overall business plan, collaborating with leadership and the executive team.
  4. Stakeholder Communication : Maintain open communication with deal owners, sponsors, and stakeholders. Develop communication plans, provide updates, and facilitate meetings and reports.
  5. Performance & Risk Monitoring : Analyze data to assess progress, identify risks, and manage escalation processes. Regularly review performance metrics and feedback to leadership.
  6. Resource Planning : Monitor resource needs, optimize allocations, and develop forecasting tools. Conduct reviews and generate reports on resource utilization.
  7. Continuous Improvement : Lead process refinement efforts, foster innovation, and organize training workshops.
  8. Compliance & Security : Ensure adherence to security and compliance policies within M&A Tech governance.
  9. Deal & Project Management : Oversee due diligence lifecycle, ensure quality and timeliness, and act as Tech Deal lead or Project Manager as needed.
  10. Leadership : Provide leadership to tech deal and project teams, fostering innovation and high-quality results.

Key Performance Indicators :

  • Stakeholder satisfaction, demand fulfillment, strategic alignment, delivery on schedule, process improvements, compliance, and security metrics.

Education / Language / Experience :

  • Master’s Degree in Tech, Business, or M&A-related field.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CSM, or similar are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of business processes, IT architecture, and key applications.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written).
  • 10 years of experience in due diligence, project, and portfolio management within a technology environment.
  • Experience in pharma industry, GxP / SOX, and IT control standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools like Microsoft Deal & Project, Jira, etc.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and country IT operations.
  • Willingness to travel (10-30%).
