Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Supply Management professional for Services & MRO in the Spain (Madrid area). You will be the internal customer interface with suppliers to ensure demand is covered, deliveries are on time, and costs are controlled across aftermarket and in-service support programs.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, managing contracts, and driving improvement plans to secure timely delivery of products and services.

Qualifications

• Education: Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering degree, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Export Control, or Aircraft/Component Repair activities.
• Soft skills: Strong communication and negotiation capabilities, proactive risk anticipation and mitigation skills, and adaptability in multicultural teams.
• Languages: Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Technical knowledge: Proficiency in SAP (or equivalent ERP), MS Office, and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Act as focal point towards suppliers for operational activities and contract management.
• Manage material flows to ensure on-time delivery, quality and cost.
• Control supplier activities and understand supplier scope.
• Demand management and ordering.
• Support MRO and Retrofit activities and in-service task forces.
• Provide consolidated forecasts to suppliers.
• Export Control activities and ensure proper classification declarations.
• Invoice management and ensure payment on time.
