Job Description

An exceptional opportunity to join our outlet "El Cielo". Reporting to the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the assigned kitchen operates effectively to produce the highest quality products for our demanding clients.

  • Provide professional, warm, and proactive service to guests while supporting colleagues.
  • Assist in preparing and serving all menu options according to hotel recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of all work areas, utensils, and equipment, with knowledge of APPCC standards and their practical application.
  • Monitor and control kitchen supplies, report any issues, and communicate maintenance needs.
  • Inform the supervisor of excess or shortages of ingredients, and ensure proper storage and utilization of products.
  • Prepare dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines, minimizing waste.
  • Deeply understand the menu, daily specials, and promotions.

Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience.
  • Culinary certification diploma (valued).
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly responsible and reliable.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer focus, maintaining calmness and courtesy.
  • Languages : Spanish; English is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in hotels or restaurants of similar category.
  • Rotating shifts.
