Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for you to work as Cobol Tech Analyst!

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain applications in the MVS Cobol/Cics/DB2 environment, understanding and performing technical designs on microservices/APIs integrated with the mainframe.
2. Carry out technical designs and contribute to the development of new technical solutions.
3. Manage the entire application lifecycle: concept, design, development, deployment, testing, and support.
4. Document developments according to standards, including functional and architectural documents, and inline comments.
5. Participate in testing: develop and test components to ensure proper integration.
6. Collaborate on projects using Agile methodologies.
7. Resolve incidents effectively.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, telecommunications, IT, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in analysis and programming in Cobol/Cics/DB2 within an MVS environment.
• Knowledge of JCL language.
• Experience developing solutions in mainframe environments, with the ability to understand technology and infrastructure platforms to create efficient solutions.
• Proven experience as an analyst and developer.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, design patterns, and architecture.
• Experience analyzing existing solutions through HLAs or code reviews.
• Experience documenting applications, architecture, diagrams, flows, and use cases.
• DevOps mindset.
• Experience with testing/QA tools.
• Strong technical understanding of business processes.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to plan tasks, identify risks, and resolve conflicts.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Minimum B2 level in spoken and written English.
