The Role

As a Co-Founder specializing in Blockchain, Big Data, and AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Gracity.org’s technical and strategic direction. You’ll collaborate closely with the founding team to design and implement innovative solutions, lead technical development, and contribute to business strategy. This is an equity-based role with the opportunity to build a legacy in a high-impact, tech-driven venture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership: Architect and develop blockchain-based systems, big data pipelines, and AI-driven applications to support Gracity.org’s mission.
2. Product Development: Design and prototype scalable solutions integrating blockchain (e.g., smart contracts, decentralized ledgers), big data analytics, and machine learning models.
3. Strategy & Vision: Co-define the company’s roadmap, aligning technical innovation with business goals and market needs.
4. Fundraising & Networking: Support fundraising efforts by presenting to investors, VCs, and partners, leveraging your expertise in blockchain, big data, and AI.
5. Team Building: Recruit and mentor a high-performing technical team to execute on the company’s vision.
6. Innovation & Research: Stay ahead of trends in blockchain (e.g., DeFi, tokenization), big data (e.g., real-time analytics), and AI (e.g., generative AI, verified inference) to ensure Gracity.org remains competitive.
7. Partnerships: Build relationships with industry leaders, tech communities, and academic institutions to foster collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications

1. Technical Expertise: Proven experience in blockchain development (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, or other protocols; smart contracts, consensus mechanisms).
2. Strong background in big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and data pipeline architecture.
3. Proficiency in AI / ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience building or deploying machine learning models.
4. Familiarity with decentralized AI or crypto-AI integration is a plus (e.g., projects like Bittensor or Ambient).
5. Entrepreneurial Mindset: Prior experience as a founder, co-founder, or early-stage employee in a tech startup, ideally in blockchain, big data, or AI, will be a plus.
6. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, communicate complex ideas, and inspire others.
7. Business Acumen: Understanding of market trends, fundraising (e.g., seed funding, VC pitches), and go-to-market strategies in tech-driven industries.
8. Passion for Impact: Alignment with Gracity.org’s mission to drive transparency in climate data ecosystems while empowering communities through decentralized tech.
9. Network: Connections in blockchain, AI, or big data communities (e.g., crypto VCs, AI research groups) are highly desirable.
