Omega CRM Consulting is seeking a CMDB Discovery Specialist to collaborate with a leading global pharmaceutical company.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, configuring and optimizing IT asset discovery to ensure accurate data in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). Experience with other discovery tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities include data cleanup, SOP development, training delivery, and collaboration with business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage ServiceNow Discovery to map infrastructure components.
  • Maintain CMDB data quality through cleanup and normalization.
  • Develop standards and procedures for data management.
  • Assess and report on data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure discovery accuracy.
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics.
  • Support users and update documentation and SOPs.
  • Analyze discovery logs and troubleshoot related issues.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of CMDB data modeling, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience with discovery tools, especially ServiceNow, BMC Discovery, Tanium, SCCM, or Qualys.
  • Understanding of data quality management within a CMDB.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and service management tools, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Quick learner of new tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
