Your Role

We seek a passionate Cluster Training & Development Manager to oversee training across our eight hotels in the Canary Islands. This role involves regular travel to ensure consistent, high-quality training aligned with Hyatt standards. You will report to the Inclusive Portfolio | Training & Development Manager for the EAME Region, based in Palma, collaborating closely with hotel leadership and HRBP teams. You will receive ongoing support and strategic guidance from the regional training team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a cohesive training strategy across all 8 properties, aligned with Hyatt’s global and regional frameworks.
  2. Customize training initiatives to meet each hotel’s operational needs and service goals.
  3. Support colleagues in delivering exceptional guest experiences through targeted training.
  4. Create training solutions that promote ownership of performance and growth.
  5. Partner with HRBP teams and department heads to assess and identify training needs, skills gaps, and development opportunities.
  6. Design and facilitate onboarding, service, and skill-based training sessions.
  7. Coach and develop departmental trainers and supervisors to enhance in-house training capabilities.
  8. Build strong relationships with hotel leadership to serve as a trusted training advisor.
  9. Contribute to regional training initiatives and share best practices.
  10. Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics, refining strategies accordingly.
  11. Maintain a rotating presence across all hotels, managing training schedules and logistics.
  12. Ensure accurate training records, reports, and compliance documentation.
  13. Support funding applications and reporting in collaboration with HR and authorities like Fundae.

Note: This role requires a rotating presence across all 8 hotels and is based in the Canary Islands. Ongoing work authorization is required.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Training & Development, preferably in a multi-property or regional role.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to various hotel environments.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
  • Hospitality experience required; Hyatt experience highly valued.
