A global consultancy in life sciences is seeking an experienced cloud architect to design architectures integrating Generative AI and AWS. Responsibilities include managing CI/CD pipelines, developing data processing pipelines, and enhancing configuration options using Python. Candidates should have strong experience with AWS serverless services and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.

Who are you?
We are looking for experienced cloud architects to design the overall architecture for integrating with Generative AI, Snowflake, and AWS.
Responsibilities include:

1. Defining and managing artifacts via CI/CD pipelines based on Azure DevOps.
2. Developing the evolution of data processing pipelines using Step Functions, DMS, Glue, and Lambda, e.g., by adding automated data health checks.
3. Extending configuration options by enhancing the parsing of a config file (Python-based).
4. Developing all platform components using Terraform or similar tools.

Required knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS serverless services like Glue, Athena, Step Functions, SageMaker, DynamoDB, EKS, as well as fundamental services like S3, IAM, VPC.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency with Python, especially with boto3 and the AWS SDK for pandas libraries.
• Additional experience with cloud data stores and data analysis is helpful.
• Knowledge of agile implementation methods and project tools like Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and cost-optimization strategies in cloud environments.
• Good documentation and coaching skills.
