A technology consultancy is seeking an experienced cloud architect to design and manage integrations with Generative AI and AWS services. You will play a key role in developing data processing pipelines and implementing Infrastructure-as-Code strategies primarily using Terraform. Ideal candidates should have strong AWS serverless experience, proficiency in Python, and a solid grasp of agile methods. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors.

Formación

• In-depth knowledge of AWS serverless services like Glue, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python, preferably with libraries related to AWS.

Responsabilidades

Who are you?
We are looking for experienced cloud architects to:

1. Design the overall architecture for integrating with Generative AI, Snowflake, and AWS.
2. Define and manage artefacts via CI/CD pipelines based on Azure DevOps.
3. Evolve the data processing pipeline using Step Functions, DMS, Glue, and Lambda, e.g., by adding automated data health checks.
4. Extend configuration options by enhancing the parsing of a config file (Python-based).
5. Develop all platform components using Terraform or similar tools.

Required knowledge:

• In-depth knowledge of and hands-on experience with AWS serverless services like Glue, Athena, Step Functions, SageMaker, DynamoDB, EKS, as well as fundamental services like S3, IAM, VPC.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-code, ideally using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Python, ideally with the boto3 and the “AWS SDK for pandas” libraries.
• Additional experience with cloud data stores and data analysis is helpful.
• Knowledge of agile methods and project tools like Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in implementing cost-optimization strategies.
• Good documentation and coaching skills.
