Formación

• Más de 5 años de experiencia en arquitectura de infraestructura y redes.
• Experiencia en diseño y consultoría de soluciones en la nube.

• Automatizar procesos de CI/CD y IaC para mejorar la eficiencia.

Position: Cloud Solution Architect

Location: Madrid, Boadilla (Hybrid 2 days onsite a week)

Duration: Long Term B2B Contract

Job Description:

As a Cloud Architect, reporting to the Head of BaaS Engineering at SCIB, your mission will be to design architecture patterns and solutions in Public/Private Cloud, ensuring their adoption in the various areas of SCIB. You will also be key in automating CI/CD and IaC processes to improve the efficiency and scalability of the infrastructure.

We need someone like you to help us in different areas:

Design and implementation of cloud architectures:

1. Analyze and design infrastructure pattern architectures in the public cloud (AWS/Azure).
2. Develop infrastructure designs tailored to each use case, translating pattern architecture into the reality of each project.
3. Ensure compliance with the group's reference standards for the public cloud and provide feedback in internal forums.

Automation and optimization:

1. Automate and develop the infrastructure pattern catalog.
2. Implement and manage IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
3. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.

Collaboration and Advisory:

1. Advise the CIO teams of CIB on the adoption of public cloud technologies.
2. Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure the smooth integration of cloud solutions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE

1. More than 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, databases, and networks.
2. More than 3 years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting of distributed applications.
3. More than 3 years of experience in evaluating technologies and cloud platforms.
4. More than 3 years of experience in design, consulting, or implementation of cloud solutions (microservices, Big Data, hybrid clouds).
5. More than 2 years of experience in IaC tools and automation processes.
6. Experience in presenting technical solutions to different audiences.

EDUCACIÓN

1. Bachelor or Degree in Engineering.
2. Certification in Azure / AWS. (Desirable)

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

1. Cloud architecture and operation: advanced experience with Azure and AWS.
2. DevOps and CI/CD: practical knowledge of GitHub Actions and other continuous integration/delivery processes.
3. Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation: experience with Terraform, Crossplane, Ansible, and similar tools.
4. Experience with platform solutions such as Backstage or Humanitec (desirable) and knowledge of state-of-the-art platform engineering architecture and strategies.
5. Programming languages: Python, Go, Bash, with a focus on automation.
6. Communication and presentation skills: ability to convey technical ideas clearly and effectively.
7. Languages: high level of English (oral and written).
