Job Title : SAP Basis Administrator IT Engineer

For REWE digital Spain, a subsidiary of REWE Group located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga, we are looking for an SAP Basis Administrator IT Engineer. She / He will join the SAP ERP Platform team, which provides SAP systems for the REWE Group and operates them on-premise.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems, we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group, one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees.

You will work in a team with flat hierarchies and agile interdisciplinary project structures. Our team of 14, based in Germany, is responsible for the entire lifecycle of SAP systems, from planning and preparation of new SAP systems, their operation, to archiving and decommissioning. We serve as the point of contact and consultant for our internal stakeholders, always offering customized solutions.

We utilize the latest technologies and methods such as S / 4HANA, BTP, Fiori, and Cloud Connector, operated on-premise and in the future in the SAP Private Cloud (RISE with SAP).

What will you do

• Coordinate SAP projects and release upgrades to promote innovation.
• Plan, implement, and operate our SAP systems and SAP HANA infrastructure with confidence, contributing your expertise.
• Handle SAP basis customizing, ensuring system availability and continuity.
• Perform OS / DB platform migrations and establish sustainable solutions.
• Conduct performance analyses and optimization measures.
• As part of an agile product team, drive strategic topics in the sense of inspect and adapt.

What you will bring

• Strong personality traits: teamwork, planning, organizational skills, initiative, flexibility, and excellent analytical skills.
• Degree in (business) informatics or a comparable education with an affinity for IT.
• Several years of experience in SAP Basis Administration of Netweaver AS ABAP & AS JAVA.
• Good Unix knowledge and experience with DB2, SAP HANA, and SAP Solution Manager.
• Familiarity with agile working methods and the ability to develop creative solutions.
• Proficiency in English, essential for internal and external cooperation with our German team.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support on a rotational basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with RISE with SAP is desirable.
