What are we looking for? We're seeking a passionate Cloud Security Engineer to join CyberProof. In this role, you'll design, implement, and safeguard the security of our cloud environments, focusing on Microsoft Azure. High English proficiency is required. This is a 100% remote position for candidates based in Spain.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and other XDR components for threat detection, investigation, and response.
2. Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for secure endpoint management, including mobile device and application management, ensuring compliance and data protection.
3. Apply security hardening measures to critical Azure applications following industry best practices and security frameworks.
4. Redesign Azure network security architecture, managing Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Link, and other services to segment networks and control traffic.
5. Implement and manage Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, and compliance, including data classification and policy enforcement.
6. Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
7. Manage IAM solutions in Azure, including Azure AD and Conditional Access policies.
8. Automate security tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
9. Stay updated on cloud security trends and provide guidance and training to teams.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud security in Microsoft Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for XDR and Microsoft Intune.
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and security services.
• Experience with security hardening for Azure applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and data governance.
• Knowledge of IAM principles and Azure AD.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and Infrastructure-as-Code (ARM, Terraform).
• Understanding of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
