What we look for?

We're on the hunt for a passionate Cloud Security Engineer to join our team here at CyberProof! In this role, you'll be at the heart of designing, implementing, and safeguarding the security posture of our cloud environments, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. High English level is required. 100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Functions and responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and other XDR components to provide threat detection, investigation, and response capabilities.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for secure endpoint management, including mobile device and application management.
• Implement security hardening measures for Azure applications, following best practices and security frameworks.
• Evaluate and redesign Azure network security architecture, including Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Link, and other services.
• Manage Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, and compliance.
• Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
• Manage IAM solutions in Azure, including Azure AD and Conditional Access.
• Automate security tasks using scripting and IaC tools.
• Stay updated on cloud security threats, trends, and best practices.
• Provide guidance and training on cloud security best practices.

What do we expect from you?

• 3-5 years of experience in IT, with focus on cloud security, specifically in Microsoft Azure.
• Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for XDR, Intune, and Azure networking/security services.
• Experience with security hardening, data governance, and IAM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and IaC (ARM, Terraform).
• Knowledge of security standards (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Experience in security monitoring and incident response.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Security certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, Security+) are a plus.
