What are we looking for?

We are seeking a passionate Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and safeguard the security posture of our cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure. High proficiency in English is required. This is a 100% remote position for residents of Spain.

Responsibilities:
  1. Implement, configure, and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Identity, and other XDR components for threat detection, investigation, and response.
  2. Configure and manage Microsoft Intune for secure endpoint management, including mobile device and application management, ensuring compliance and data protection.
  3. Apply security hardening measures for critical Azure applications, following best practices and security frameworks.
  4. Redesign and evaluate Azure network security architecture, implementing Azure Firewall, NSGs, Private Link, and other security services.
  5. Manage Microsoft Purview for data governance, DLP, and compliance, including data classification and policy enforcement.
  6. Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
  7. Manage IAM solutions in Azure, including Azure AD and Conditional Access policies.
  8. Automate security tasks using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  9. Stay updated on cloud security threats, trends, and best practices.
  10. Provide guidance and training on cloud security to other teams.
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, focusing on cloud security in Microsoft Azure.
  • Deep knowledge of Azure security services and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender XDR solutions and Microsoft Intune.
  • Strong understanding of Azure networking and security services.
  • Experience in security hardening and data governance.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and IaC tools (ARM, Terraform).
  • Knowledge of security standards like ISO 27001, GDPR.
  • Experience in security monitoring and incident response.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields; certifications like CCSP, CISSP are a plus.
