What are we looking for?

We are seeking a new team member to join us as a Cloud Security Engineer, focusing on innovation in information systems security, with at least 3 years of experience.

What will you do at Babel?

• Deploy security solutions, collaborating in the selection of technologies/manufacturers suitable for architecture design in various environments: networking, perimeter and host security, cloud, etc.
• Design new security solutions: translating business requirements into a security architecture that considers current regulatory and methodological frameworks.
• Review existing security solutions to evaluate and address potential risks and threats.
• Perform threat modeling and risk analysis, both for new and existing solutions.
• Assist deployment teams and PMOs in implementing designed technological solutions.

Requirements:

• Experience in deploying security solutions.
• Knowledge in architecture design across different environments: networking, perimeter and host security, cloud, etc.
• Practical knowledge of security frameworks and related regulatory standards (ISO27001, NIST CSF).
• Knowledge of Palo Alto products (Cortex, Prisma).
• Experience operating security tools (perimeter protection, XDR / EDR, SASE, IAM / PAM, WAF) and security analytics.
• Advising and implementing security services in cloud (private, public, hybrid), microservices, and automation.
• Knowledge of security frameworks for applications (OWASP ASVS, MASVS) and DevSecOps.

Additional / Valued:

• Having cybersecurity certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect, or equivalents).
• Advanced level of English.
