Ohpen is building the next generation of cloud-native core banking platforms. As a software engineer, you will reason about distributed systems and quickly adapt to unfamiliar codebases, including ones in languages you have not used before.

We value engineers who own their production services, implement robust CI/CD, observability, and IaC. You’ll use AI as a deliberate tool to explore designs, generate implementations, and trim routine work while remaining in control of decisions.

Qualificações

• Generalist with experience across languages/platforms and willingness to learn new ones.
• Production backend systems in distributed, event-driven environments with API-first design.
• Ability to reason about system boundaries, compatibility, and impact of changes.
• Comfort working with code you didn't write and digging into implementation details.
• Deliberate use of AI to understand, explore, and improve codebases.

Responsabilidades

• Join a cross-functional team with end-to-end ownership of a domain: design, build, deploy, operate, support.
• Own production behavior of services, including reliability, scalability and observability.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native components, with IaC, CI/CD, and monitoring in production.
• Leverage AI to contextualize unfamiliar code, explore designs, and generate/review implementations.
