Project Description

At the Telco Hub in Madrid, we are pioneers in merging IT and Telco, building and scaling Telco as a Platform (TaaP) on our proprietary layered cloud. Our mission is to create the best customer experience based on three core principles:

Cloud-based – Harnessing the latest technologies for scalability and performance.

Automated – Driving efficiency through AI, automation, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Monitor our cloud infrastructure using Zabbix and partially support the legacy environment on ICINGA Monitoring.
• Oversee the monitoring of compute nodes and act as the interface to the platform operators.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to enrich the service for First Line support.
• Support contacts responsible for monitoring network devices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Zabbix and ICINGA for monitoring cloud infrastructure, including setup, configuration, and managing alerts.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and incident management.
• Experience working in a team setting, particularly within a German-speaking team, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with programming or scripting languages to automate monitoring processes.
• Familiarity with monitoring network devices and supporting network monitoring contacts.
• Agile mindset and methods (e.g., SCRUM or KANBAN).
• Experience working with operations teams to improve processes and information flow to First Line support.
• Understanding of platform operations and the ability to act as an interface between monitoring and platform teams.
• German language proficiency: not mandatory, but beneficial for seamless communication.
• Jira, Zabbix (Monitoring Tool), ICINGA (Monitoring Tool), Grafana.
