Cloud Infrastructure Engineers - CDN - Mid Senior (2-4 years), Madrid

My client is a strong leader and innovator in disruptive video content delivery technology (MultiCDN) solutions used by many streaming and broadcasting organisations worldwide. They are looking to expand their workforce and hire a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, distributed systems. The cloud engineer is a key role in our growing and dynamic Cloud platform. The role is remote from anywhere within 2-3 hours of CET, with a start time aligned to the team at 9am WET, offering flexibility.

My client is well-organized to hire extensively on a remote basis, especially during these challenging times. This is a great opportunity to join a highly innovative team building the future, with an option to relocate to Tenerife, Spain.

Be part of a company with a portfolio of disruptive products in content delivery and media streaming industries. We are expanding internationally beyond our core team in Tenerife (Canary Islands) to deliver high-quality products and services globally.

Having grown from a startup, my client seeks more growth by adding exceptional individuals to their Engineering team. They work with top industry clients and plan to expand with new, exciting products.

They offer a full-time remote position with flexible schedules. The position is full-time, with adaptable work hours to fit team needs.

  • Participate in incident response and postmortems.
  • Proficiency with source control (Git, GitLab).
  • Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Be a team player, proactive, and willing to take on challenges.

While fully remote, some synchronization during 09:00-13:00 WET is expected for meetings and tasks.

Nice to have
  • Serverless architecture experience (AWS).
  • Experience with databases/message brokers (Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • Performance/security testing experience.
  • Knowledge of container tech (ECS, EKS, Docker).
  • Contributions to security or observability initiatives.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
  • Experience in DevOps or SRE cultures.

Candidates are not expected to be experts in all areas but should have strengths in some and interest in others.
