My client is a leading innovator in disruptive video content delivery technology (MultiCDN) solutions used worldwide by streaming and broadcasting organizations. They are expanding their team and are looking to hire a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who combines software and systems engineering skills to build and operate large-scale, distributed systems. This key role is part of their growing and dynamic cloud platform.

The position is remote, within 2-3 hours of CET, with flexible start times aligned with the team’s 9am WET start. Remote work is fully supported, and there is potential for relocation to Tenerife, Spain.

What You Will Find in This Position

A hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and secure AWS-based infrastructure, support engineering with reliable infrastructure, improve observability with Grafana, and implement security best practices. This role suits someone with some professional cloud experience, a passion for learning, and a sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Enhance monitoring of services with automation to detect issues promptly.
• Design and maintain reliable cloud architecture with minimal downtime.
• Implement security policies for services, including IAM, secrets management, and VPC isolation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, code, configurations, and data issues.
• Document and share knowledge within the team.
• Stay updated with latest DevOps and CIE tools and strategies.

What We Expect From You

Experience with AWS cloud environment.

Use of Infrastructure-as-Code tools, preferably Terraform.

Experience designing and operating large-scale production systems.

Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes).

Support security best practices, IAM, secrets management, VPCs.

Participate in incident response and postmortems.

Proficiency with source control (Git, GitLab).

Ability to work within Agile methodologies.

Strong troubleshooting skills and proactive workflow improvements.

Willingness to synchronize with team members during scheduled hours (09 : 00-13 : 00 WET).

Nice to Have

Serverless architecture experience (AWS).

Experience with databases / message brokers like Postgres, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka.

Performance or security testing experience.

Experience with container technologies (ECS, EKS, Docker).

Contributions to security or observability initiatives.

Knowledge of CI / CD tools.

Experience in a DevOps or SRE culture.
