Job Description:

The Cloud First Solution Architect will be part of the Solutions team in Europe, joining Sales and Opportunity teams to understand client expectations and architect solutions that leverage the best of Accenture's offerings and assets to shape valuable proposals. The key activities of the Solution Architect position will include:

1. Identifying client requirements from RFP documents or similar.
2. Building solutions to fulfill them with our most innovative assets and services.
3. Ensuring that costs are properly managed.
4. Maximizing added value to our clients.

He/She will also be a key component of the bid team, ensuring proper processes are followed and proposing the best solution with the most innovative assets. Responsibilities include building a strong network within Sales & Account teams and gaining trust from Delivery teams while challenging them.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ability to drive true solution differentiation through automation, analytics, liquid, cloud, technology stack, As a Service, etc.
2. Ensure the solution is deliverable at acceptable risk to Accenture.
3. Understand the competitive landscape and how the competition will position their solution vs Accenture.
4. Deep knowledge of costing and pricing models.
5. Navigating internal and external processes to achieve goals.

Minimum Requirements:

These are the key skills and experience required for the position:

1. Experience working in proposal teams, technical pre-sales areas, or solutions development departments in infrastructure environments.
2. Deep understanding of business case creation, savings and investment levers, and results presentation in the infrastructure arena.
3. Knowledge of cost components of an infrastructure operations service, including both resources and other types of costs.

At least one of the following pieces of knowledge:

1. Automation knowledge.
2. Public Cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google).

Other Skills:

1. English is required.
2. Ability to work with large spreadsheets and keep information under control.
3. Good mix of high-level and detailed views about a solution.
4. Able to work in a global and multicultural environment with remote groups.
5. Motivated & eager to grow / eager to learn.
