About the Job

The Product Customer Data team is looking for a Cloud Engineer. This team manages a customer data platform that consolidates data from marketing sources and prepares it for activation across various marketing channels (e.g., social media). The data is also used for analytical purposes.

What you will do:

• Maintain and extend our customer data platform using GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Functions). The platform development involves Python and Terraform, with SQL technologies like Google BigQuery and Snowflake.
• Design and implement unit tests (Pytest), ensure quality assurance, and documentation.
• Take code responsibility from development to production deployment.
• Collaborate closely within an agile team located in Germany and Spain, communicating in English.

What you will bring:

• Hands-on experience as a software developer in recent projects.
• Multiple years of Python programming experience.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and eagerness to grow in this area.
• Experience with version control (GIT), Kafka/PubSub, Docker, Terraform, and Apache Beam with Dataflow.
• Interest or experience working in agile teams (Scrum).
• Strong verbal and written English skills.
• Knowledge of clean code principles.
• Residency in Spain with a valid work permit/VISA (no sponsorship required).

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Cloud Build.
• Java skills.
• Experience with Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Willingness to work on user stories.
