We’re seeking a Development Operations Engineer to join our global TechOps Team, responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and maintenance of our internally developed software products from conception to release. Responsibilities :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will assist the Development team with understanding, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure related to hosting TransPerfect SaaS applications. You will diagnose configuration issues in coordination with development teams and serve as the primary contact for infrastructure needs, handling service requests and technical problems such as server, networking, and automated deployment issues.

1. Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain version control systems, build tools, and continuous integration tools.
2. Develop, provision, and test application deployment automation and orchestration.
3. Utilize engineering and CI/CD practices with tools like Jenkins, Pipeline as code, and Concourse.
4. Collaborate with application teams to build, maintain, and document environments using Confluence for Development, Testing, Staging, and Production.
5. Apply knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting, AWS, Java, Python, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
6. Create automated build scripts for release management across environments.
7. Develop and migrate tooling using AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
8. Maintain and evaluate monitoring platforms.
9. Perform analysis, design, development, and configuration functions with high accuracy and speed.
10. Monitor application, performance, event, and system logs for troubleshooting.
11. Assist in planning data center system expansion.
12. Work with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CloudFormation and Azure ARM templates.
13. Manage AWS RDS and Azure PaaS databases and services such as Redis and Service Bus.
14. Hands-on experience with databases like SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
15. Use Terraform or CloudFormation YAML scripting.
16. Proficient with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
17. Understand operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

Your experience includes :

• 2+ years of relevant experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience with APM monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain key SLAs.
• Understanding of Networking Technologies such as Load balancers, Firewalls, VIP, DNS.
• Guidance provision for DevOps processes and standards.
• Familiarity with Agile, PowerShell, Active Directory, SQL backups/restores, Network Security, ELK Stack, Azure DevOps.
