We’re seeking a Development Operations Engineer to join our global TechOps Team, responsible for ensuring the integrity, reliability, and maintenance of our internally developed software products from conception to release. Responsibilities :

As a DevOps Engineer, you will assist the Development team in understanding, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure related to hosting the TransPerfect SaaS applications. You will diagnose configuration issues in coordination with the development teams and serve as the primary contact for infrastructure needs, dealing directly with development teams on service requests and technical problems such as server, networking, and automated deployment issues.

• Provision, install, configure, operate, and maintain version control systems, build tools, and continuous integration tools.
• Develop, provision, and test application deployment automation and orchestration.
• Utilize engineering and CI / CD practices with tools like Jenkins, Pipeline as code, and Concourse.
• Build, maintain, and document development, testing, staging, and production environments through Confluence.
• Apply strong knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting, AWS, Java, Python, Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
• Create automated build scripts for release management across environments.
• Develop and migrate tooling using AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Maintain and evaluate monitoring platforms.
• Analyze, design, develop, and configure systems with high accuracy and speed.
• Monitor application, performance, event, and system logs for troubleshooting.
• Assist in planning data center expansion.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation Templates and Azure ARM templates.
• Manage AWS RDS and Azure PaaS databases and services like Redis and Service Bus.
• Work with databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Use Terraform or CloudFormation YAML scripting.
• Operate container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain proficiency with operating systems such as Windows and Linux.

Your experience includes :

• 2+ years of relevant experience with cloud technologies, especially AWS or Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
• Experience with APM monitoring tools
• Hands-on experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain key SLAs
• Understanding of networking technologies such as load balancers, firewalls, VIPs, and DNS
• Guidance on DevOps processes and pipeline standards
• Familiarity with Agile methodology, PowerShell, Active Directory, SQL backups, network security, ELK Stack, and Azure DevOps Services
